Abstract:	The article analyzes the characteristics of the use of e-mechanisms of civic participation. The author provides the following opposition: rationale of cyberspace opportunities and refutation of mobilizing resource of the Internet. The author considers practicesand projects of online participation in Ukraine. The summary features advantages and disadvantages of introducing e-democracy.
